On the front is a sun with wide rays that cross the whole sweater and disappear down the sleeves, and between them appear patchwork-style blocks with dots, lines and brushstrokes. It reads like a painting, not a repeating print. The knit has texture, the collar rises as a mock neck, and the sleeves fall wide to the cuff. It's the sweater that doesn't need anything next to it.

• Abstract sun and ray print covering the front, back and full sleeves, so every part of the sweater shows something different.
• Patchwork-style blocks with dots, stripes and brushstrokes between the rays that add depth up close.
• Textured knit with a good drape that keeps you warm without feeling heavy or bulking up under a coat.
• Knitted mock neck that covers your neck without squeezing, more comfortable all day than a folded collar.
• Relaxed cut with dropped shoulders and wide sleeves to the cuff that falls loose without clinging.

Wear it with light plain pants and ankle boots so the print is the only thing talking, or straight jeans and sneakers every day. With a design this big, keep everything else plain and the accessories small, or skip them.
