It's the coat you put on over everything, and everything looks better. The oversized cut falls loose from the shoulder, with roomy sleeves and a length that goes past the knee, so there's plenty of space for a chunky sweater underneath without feeling tight. The hood takes the formality down a notch and gives it a relaxed, long-weekend feel.

• Loose oversized cut with room for a bulky sweater underneath without losing the drape.
• Built-in hood that softens the coat's formal look and covers you when it's windy.
• Textured fabric with body that feels substantial and hangs with weight instead of clinging.
• Button front: close it for the cold, or leave it open to show off your whole outfit.
• Below-the-knee length that gives real coverage and looks great over jeans or leggings.

Leave it open and push up the sleeves. The volume looks chosen, not borrowed.
